a new beginning

a new beginning.

If you're getting this message,

you were either on the email list for Micro-Documentaries, One Word Sawalmem or our Nature Practice programs.

I'm happy to announce that these three now exist under our new umbrella, Rosa Guayaba LLC.

With all the hardship and pause 2020 has brought to the world – and with our in-person filmmaking services coming to pretty much a full halt – these times offered us an opportunity for reflection on what we have accomplished, what we have learned and how we wish to be in service moving forward.

After having had the honor and pleasure of developing the genre of micro-documentaries for purposeful organizations and completing more than 2,000 short films in more than 30 countries, we’re ready to shift our focus and serve you in new and exciting ways.

What are we focusing on now?

With this change, we’re directing our attention to two main areas:

independent filmmaking where we can dive deeper and with more attention into projects like One Word Sawalmem which has won awards and been selected for 35 film festivals around the world, since its release last March.

❀ nature-centered wellbeing programs, like Nature Practice Flow, where we help you and your teams deepen your connection to nature and restore your calm and clarity, without moving to the forest or becoming a monk.

In both cases, our priority will be on helping you deepen your relationship with nature - for your wellbeing and the Earth’s.

This is a passion and a commitment and we are thrilled to be embarking on this new chapter, especially during this time when the Earth and the seventh generation are counting on us.

Here’s to new beginnings,

P.S.  What’s in the name? Rosa Guayaba is the particular color of a ripe guava fruit.  You say "dusty pink".  I say "Rosa Guayaba".  Saying those words connect me not only to a favorite color and a treasured taste of my beloved Venezuela.  Rosa Guayaba is gratitude for the immeasurable gifts the Earth offers us each day.  Rosa Guayaba is the whisper carried by the breeze, reminding us of who we are and what we are here for.  Rosa Guayaba is reverence for nature and for all that is sacred, which I'm looking forward to helping you stay close to.

@rosa.guayaba started as my Instagram handle, as a way of exploring this new thread as it wove itself into life and where you can follow the unfolding of this story.

P.S.S.  We have an time-sensitive opportunity for a small number of sponsors of our film for PBS broadcast. (!!)  If you’re interested in getting your message in front of this prime audience, please contact us, by replying to this message.

Welcome to this new adventure.

Would you like to contact me?

I look forward to hearing from you.
