Activating Qi

This practice has immediate benefits as you activate qi (energy).

In fact, you will learn how to bring energy into your body at will and immediately.

There are so many reasons that we need and want more focussed energy in our daily lives. How many times have you sat on a park bench and watched young children climb on a jungle gym and marveled at their curiosity, sense of adventure and stamina? When was the last time you were inspired to swing from the monkey bars or slide down a slide?

Although, we can’t underestimate the restorative power of play, our idea of fun changes as we age. We don’t want to romp around a playground, but for most of us, there are so many things we do need and want youthful energy to explore and experience.

By coordinating the breath and motion with music in this simple exercise you will experience one of the key components of qigong and will begin to see how your energy, posture, grace and presence will increase as you work on these simple movements.
