There is no government body or other neutral (nonprofit) authority that accredits the coaching industry.

There are only private institutions that claim authority over regulating the industry according to their methodologies. We are certifying you in Positive Performance methodologies and therefore it doesn't make sense to apply to their accreditation. 

Yes, but it is only offered once or twice a year at most. That said, the price often increases due to our improvements and increased tools. (For example, our MTE bootcamp went from $4500 for the first cohort to $9500.)

You'll have access to all of the online resources for the lifetime of the course, including any updates we make. 

We have had coaches submit this and get approved for credit. We can't guarantee it, of course, but there is a course syllabus you can submit that we'll be happy to send you (email: [email protected])

You actually get two certifications. You will be a Positive Performance Certified Mindset Coach™(CMC) and Mindset Coach Academy Performance Visualization Specialist™ (PVS). 

First of all, everyone is busy. So if mindset coaching isn't a priority, you won't MAKE time for it. If it is, then you will.

That being said, this program is designed to PUSH you to another level but we are very committed to not creating a ton of busy work either.

The core of your time commitment is the 2 weekly calls for the 16 weeks of the program. I would assume another 2-3 hours for homework and personal growth work. As you start working with practice clients you'll want to reserve time for that as well. 

Here are some of the ways you'll spend your time in the program: 

• We will have a 1-hour training/coaching call 1x week that you will be expected to attend or make up. This is usually with Lindsey and your entire cohort.
• You'll have a small group breakout call 1x week. This is with your team captain (a Positive Performance Certified Coach) and a smaller group/team of your peers.
• The weekly homework is designed to be in small bursts. A typical week of homework might be: a 10 minute audio training, review one module of an online course for 20 minutes, and one 10 minute video training
• You can complete the online courses at your own pace and you have lifetime access to them. 
• A big part of the training is growing and learning together either in the calls or in the facebook group. We can't force you to participate but will be looking for coaches who are passionate about community during the interview and application process. 
• There will be 30 hours of practicum to get certified but that doesn't have to be completed in the 16 weeks of the program.
• You'll have to submit your final work for certification which includes your practicum, but you'll have some time after the end of the program to compile it all. 

For the 4 month training plus all the online courses, bonuses and coaching it's $6000 if you pay in full. The payment plan is 4 monthly payments of $1625 for a total of $6,500.

The short answer is no. The goal of the certification is for you to be trained in our methodologies so you can take these tools out into the world. Once you become certified there may be opportunities to support our work as a coach but that is not guaranteed.  

In order to ensure the highest level of standards, every year (after the initial 2 year certification that is included in the training) you will be expected to renew your certification. Every January, you'll submit evidence of your mindset work with clients. You will submit a case study (i.e. a recorded session with a client, a video of you teaching a tool, attending a retreat.) There will be a number of different ways to submit your continuing certification. There will also be a yearly fee to cover our costs. Our goal is to maintain a high level of professionalism, both within our organization and with the mindset coaches we certify. We will not be 'rubber stamping' our coaches as being trained in our methodologies.

We have requirements due within a few months of graduation that includes practice hours, a guided visualization recorded and client work. If you need a bit more time to complete it all that's fine. But you can also get certified very soon after graduation by working consistently on the requirements. 

In a nutshell, Month 1 is all about YOU and learning mindset coaching as a student. This will allow you to truly understand these tools on a deep level. Month 2 is about you practicing these tools. Month 3 is practical application with live clients as you focus on your niche. Month 4 is about how to price and package your services and get your coaching out into the world. 

The training will be done via video conferencing with Lindsey. We'll also have office hours for Q&A and multiple micro trainings as homework (these will be short videos, audios, and PDFs). You'll be interacting with and supporting the other members of the group in our private facebook group. We'll be sharing worksheets, PDFs, scripts, and other supplemental materials consistently through the program in order to help you learn and take action for yourself and for your clients. 

Plus, you'll have full access to all of our online courses so you can learn all the tools and techniques and refer back to them in the future. 

Of course! This certification is continued education. Some of our mindset coaches will be getting certified to grow themselves as a coach and use what they learn with their team in order to strengthen their impact. We will talk more about team implementation in month 4. Truthfully, many coaches that think they don't want to charge for their services, change their mind when they realize it's possible to work with a few clients here and there, impact more lives, and draw a side income (while also working with their team and athletes without charging them.) Ultimately, what you do with this certification is totally up to you; you will benefit from it either way.

This training is designed to give you all the tools necessary to make a massive impact with your clients. If you already feel that you have a full toolbox, then this might not be for you. But you are here for a reason, and my guess is that you want more training, more credibility, and further tools to impact your clients. This program will give you that. We have had multiple mindset coaches join our program and been surprised at how much it helped them.

The weekly training calls with Lindsey are on Thursday at 12 pm PST. Breakout group call times are variable with a few different options to choose from. 

The short answer is no. The longer answer is it depends. If you want to be a mindset and mental performance coach with your own business,  you do NOT need a masters or phD. Your future clients ONLY care if you can help them and get results which is what you will learn in our certification.  However, if you want to work with clinical mental health challenges like anxiety, depression or eating disorders, academic training is necessary. Additionally, if you want to go work for an institution or organization you 'may' need a degree. Keep in mind with most advanced degrees in this space you may not get as much real world and applied practice with athletes and you will most definitely not get trained on the business side. So it does depend on your end goal but additional school will not ensure you can run a successful business or have clients lined up to pay you or give you the confidence to do this finally. Only YOU can do that for you. Many people think of going back to school as a rubber stamp to get to the next level but sometimes it's serves  as a delay tactic from doing the hard work of getting started as a mindset coach and putting yourself out there and selling this.
